Chick-fil-A, Inc., was founded by S. Truett Cathy in 1946, when he and his brother, Ben, opened an The Dwarf Grill (later renamed The Dwarf House®). In 2006, Chick-fil-A surpasses $2 billion in system-wide sales, securing the family-owned company as a billion-dollar brand. Today, it is the largest quick-service chicken restaurant chain in the United States.
Cathy’s family has continued the tradition of leadership by appointing his son, Don as the company’s CEO in 2013 and his grandson Andrew who serves as the current CEO of Chick-fil-A.
